Hoecker and Kohl, in partnership with a leading Global manufacturer, is seeking an experienced safety professional for a Plant Safety Manager role. Our client is the recognized leader in their industry with both domestic and international operations. As Safety Manager you'll be responsible for implementation and monitoring of safety policies and programs. You'll also maintain responsibility for monitoring and compliance with all applicable government and safety regulations. The most successful candidates will offer a background of at least five years of experience in a mining, construction, manufacturing, or related industry. Some of the duties and responsibilities include:
Monitor plant operations for compliance with all federal, state, county, and local operating permits.
Develop and implement policies and procedures necessary to meet occupational health and safety standards and regulations.
Coordinate, direct, and monitor all plant health and safety compliance, programs, issues, and results.
Assist plant operations in developing, monitoring, and instituting programs and procedures to ensure safe and legal operation and maintenance of the facility.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
