Job Definition: Install, configure, and support the organizations network infrastructure. Monitor network to ensure availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support the network availability. Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. Review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.
Qualifications:
B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science or Information Systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of troubleshooting and supporting networks
Basic programming knowledge
Good communication skills and people skills
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 1 years of work-related skill, knowledge, and experience
Preferred Skills and Knowledge: The position requires exposure to a large variety of technologies on a routine basis. The ability to learn quickly is important. The ideal candidate will have experience or familiarity with a portion of the technologies listed below. Proficiency in all areas is not a requirement, although a willingness and desire to learn new technologies is.
Experience in some of the following technologies is a plus:
Microsoft Server Environment
VMWare vSphere/ESXi
Firewall and Switch Configuration
SAN Hardware Configuration
Microsoft SQL server
Advanced Active Directory Architecture
Citrix Xen Platforms
Exposure & Experience with a variety of Network Protocols and technologies TCP/IP, DHCP, etc.
IBM iSeries OS400 and RPG Programming
IBM Cognos Business Intelligence

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
