Patient registration/EMR Insurance verification Familiar with simple computer tasks and Microsoft Vitals Capable of drawing blood Collecting urine specimens and preparing for LAB send-outs In office testing including FLU, strep and pregnancy testing.
EKG Injections/Immunizations-Prepare for suturing-Sterilization, etc Requirements for the Patient Care Technician position include:
Must have Patient Care Technician certificate and at least 1 year of work experience as a PCT Must have BLS or CPR certificate Must be able to work up to five days a week Must be able to work morning and afternoon shifts Must be able to work weekends Must be able to be on call two days a week Must be willing to travel to different locations for coverage, if needed Must be willing to drive up to an hour for coverage, if needed Must have a valid driver's license or a valid driver's permit Must have reliable transportation Job Type:
